I hope you liked "Kieck Week" last episode with my buddy, writer Frank Kieck.
This week, I discuss the millenia-old stoic concept of "Alive time" vs. "Dead time", and connect it to several prominent artists who used their stay-at-home orders productively instead of just stuffing their faces and binge-watching Netflix.
I then ask the question, "Why is Florida getting more coronoavirus resources than New York, Washington, New Jersey, and California?" Could it have something to do with Florida being a deeply "red" state and stalwart supporter of Donald Trump? Hmmmmmm....That might explain why Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, said, "The notion of the federal stockpile was it's supposed to be our stockpile," not for the states. Wait until those red states start melting down; we'll see that stockpile opened up really fast.
I cover employee rights under "The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act)", the postponed Democratic National Convention, postponed primaries, why now is the time to institute nationwide paper mail-in ballots, and the "voter fraud" canard Republicans use to discourage voters.
I conclude the show with a call to all Canadians and those who know some: I NEED INTERVIEWEES FOR A NATIONAL HEALTHCARE SEGMENT FOR A FUTURE EPISODE. PLEASE D-M ME @tedmillar.
Thanks for listening!
